Agri Environment Options Scheme (AEOS) and the Natura 2000 Scheme.

The Basic Payment Scheme replaces the Single Payment Scheme in 2015 and a new set of payment entitlements will be allocated to those who are eligible to take part in the scheme.

To receive a payment under the Single Payment Scheme you must follow a variety of regulations on the environment, public health, animal health, plant health, animal welfare and land maintenance. This system is known as Cross Compliance.

GLAS is the new agri-environment scheme which is part of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.

This scheme is divided into two sections: - Dairy Equipment Scheme (€45m fund) - Sheep Fencing/Mobile Handling Equipment Scheme (€8m fund)  Dairy
